Russian invasion of Ukraine: the impacts on the European and Global economy.
The Western countries have put economic pressures on Russia in order to induce the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, to stop the invasion of Ukraine. These pressures have not yet resulted in a ceasefire, but Russia is experiencing a brutal shock from the isolation of its financial system by NATO countries, but there are also economic repercussions that have already affected the global community, and more strongly Europe, which is slowly recovering from the Covid-19 crisis.
